Dear Mike Cares, what advice would you give this impatient patient?

DEAR MIKE CARES: I started seeing a new doctor six months ago to be treated for a simple medical condition I have with my ankle. I respect his medical opinion and the fact that many doctors treating my condition would be judgmental and lack compassion. He has offered both. He is very attractive, the whole handsome doctor thing. While I appreciate his skills as a doctor, I have started to develop romantic feelings for him. I realize telling him would put him in an awkward position and possibly jeopardize our professional relationship because of the ethical implications. I don't want to move on to another doctor because I value his services. How do I get over it? -- ANONYMOUSLY IN LOVE
DEAR ANONYMOUSLY IN LOVE: I think you can certainly set up several future appointments that start at your ankle and move all the way up to puppy love filled head. Obviously vaginal inspections, breast cancer evaluations and swollen tongue issues would be a good starting point. Once the good doctor diagnoses your flirtation as positive, his stethoscope might just harden into the medical instrument you actually desire. I guess the only real questions are gloves, or no gloves, and whether his prescription has any refills. Good Luck and Keep in Touch! Dear Mike Cares is also on X, Instagram, Reddit, Substack and Facebook (whatever they are.) For more honest advice, email me your stupid questions at DearMikeCares@gmail.com
