DEAR MIKE CARES: I'm new to the LGBTQ+ community and finding it tough. I'm torn between living a happy life or being around my family, who don't 100% accept me as bisexual/asexual and involved with a transgender female. My new partner and I are happy together, but my family doesn't approve that I'm finally feeling happy and accepted by someone who values me for me. My partner and I want to eventually move to another state where we can live a happier life together, if and when the time comes. I want to live free from stress and drama. I battle daily with bad triggers in my personal life with no escape. How can I be happy and have my family support me, even if it doesn't make them happy? -- BI MILLENNIAL IN PENNSYLVANIA

DEAR BI MILLENNIAL IN PENNSYLVANIA: It’s sad when a family cannot provide happiness or embrace the happiness of their children. Whether you like to gargle balls or munch rugs, or after a few drinks you want to do both should not be held against you. In a society where the norm is boy likes girl, boy marries girl, girl divorces boy, boy gets angry girl gets even through lawyers, I say you and your tri-sexual proclivities norm must be a step up from that horseshit.  Now all you have to do is find an area to live where your happiness and “norm” doesn’t bother anyone, just don’t forget to call your family on Sundays. Good Luck and Keep in Touch! Dear Mike Cares is also on X, Instagram and Facebook (whatever they are.) Email me your stupid questions at DearMikeCares@gmail.com
